Description: The purpose of this experiment was to measure the amount of color in five different groups of algae plants (spirogyra) each growing at a different temperature. A vacuum flask was used to filter the plants from the water using a glass fiber filter. A colorimeter measured the amount of color on the clean glass fiber filters.
